Yokohama Stadium (横 浜 ス タ ジ ア ム, Yokohama Sutajiamu) is a stadium in Naka-ku, Yokohama, located in Yokohama Park, in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. It was inaugurated in 1978 and has a capacity of 34,046 people.
It is the home of one of the professional baseball teams in Japan, as it is used mainly for this sport, but it is also used for American football games and live events.
Yokohama Stadium will serve as the main venue for baseball and softball events at the rescheduled Olympics. The trial was carried out by the Kanagawa prefecture and Yokohama municipal governments, as well as mobile game developer DeNA, which runs the stadium as the home of the BayStars.
