Hoping to be lucky in love? Try the love stones challenge
Turn left behind the main hall at the Kiyomizu-dera temple and you will find a small shrine dedicated to the gods of love and matchmaking. Here two “love stones” are set on the ground 18 meters apart. Stand on one stone, close your eyes, and see if you can find your way to the other stone without looking out. Those who do will be lucky in love. You can have a friend guide you between the stones, but this is interpreted as that you will need a matchmaker to help you with your love life.
