Ibusuki Spa is an ocean-side hot spring spa located 45 kilometers south of Kagoshima city, you can get here in one hour by fast train from Kagoshima station. Having a temperate climate with an annual average temperature of 18.3 degrees Celsius and an endless hot water source, Ibusuki is one of the most popular spas in Japan. It owes its popularity in part to its beautiful white sand beach and lush subtropical vegetation. At the foot of this hill, there are numerous historical vestiges.

The Ibusuki spa is known for its sand baths, or for its natural sauna, which uses the natural hot air stream that passes through the sand. You can try this experience at Surigahama beach.

Located near Cape Nagasakibana, this botanical garden is home to many species of subtropical plants and flowers.
It is a steep volcanic mountain of great beauty, reaching 224 meters.
It takes 2 hours to ascend from Kaimondake Bus Stop, 25 minutes from Yamakawa Station. At the foot of this mountain, on its eastern slope, there are more than 500 varieties of tropical plants.
